We're an adventurous couple, and have traveled to nearly 10 countries over our 6 years together. Although it's located in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo stood out to us for its timeless European and romantic feel. Our Love
Story
Our individual love for travel started long before we met. Whereas I grew up running up and down the beaches of Florida and Aruba, Ardi grew up exploring Europe. Although we've been all over the world, we officially met in July 2017 at our local bar... even world travelers like hometown pizza!
Ardi spent the night convincing strangers that my recent trip to Australia was our honeymoon. After an official introduction... and a couple of drinks... we ended the night dancing to 'Wagon Wheel' and set off on our next great adventure... us!
We dreamt of returning to the glaciers for our special day, but we didn't think slippery cliffs and Kuku-campers were for everyone. Lucky for our guests, our second favorite trip includes golf carts, La Caña cocktails, and easy beach access.
If you asked us both what our favorite trip together has been, we'd shout "ICELAND!" This trip was early on and really put our relationship to the test. We signed up to spend 10 days together living in a Kuku-camper (think crammed white commercial van that fits a bed, a mini portable stove, and my 6 foot fiance) while traveling the country.
Living quarters were tight, Ardi had food poisoning and I spent a significant amount of time crying while driving on the very slippery cliffs of Iceland... but we had the time of our lives. We left that trip knowing we were ready to handle a life full of adventures together.
